Acclaimed Burlington musician Amber deLaurentis celebrates the release of her first full-length studio album, Hey Sadie, showcasing her signature piano style and powerful vocals in a collection of contemporary and timeless originals, written with longtime lyricist Sarah Blue. deLaurentis and Blue have won awards from Billboard Magazine and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and the band placed first out of 1,200 bands in the Discmakers Independent Music World Series (2002). deLaurentis teaches jazz voice at the University of Vermont and has opened for NRBQ, Amos Lee, Marshall Crenshaw, Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, Patty Larkin, and Five For Fighting. She has recorded with keyboardist Chris Cameron (Sonia Dada) and Jim Tullio (producer, Mavis Staples and Los Lonely Boys).
